Archeologists Investigate 50,000-Year-Old Brazilian Rock Art

Deep in the arid heart of northeast Brazil lies a treasure that has rocked the scientific community: the Serra da Capivara. For decades, the "Clovis First" theory insisted humans arrived in the Americas 13,000 years ago via a land bridge. However, the discovery of 50,000-year-old hearths and vibrant rock art at Pedra Furada suggests a far more ancient - and mysterious - origin story.
