James Randall | World’s Most Evil Killers

Dr.Docs' Take

This one sits at the true crime end of the shelf, profiling James Randall, a Florida offender tied to two murders and suspected in more before a sting finally closed the net. The series widens out to the familiar names, Dahmer, Ramirez, Stayner, hunting for the wiring behind the worst of us. I am wary of anything that turns victims into set dressing, and this mostly resists the temptation. The uncomfortable question it keeps circling is whether 'evil' explains anything or just ends the conversation.
