From Jesus to Christ: The First Christians, Part One

This opening chapter of a landmark FRONTLINE series examines the world into which Jesus was born and the forces that shaped early Christianity. It explores how Judaism and the Roman Empire influenced his life and the beginnings of the movement that followed. Drawing on leading scholars and archaeology, it traces the faith's earliest years before it even carried the name Christian. It is a thoughtful, historically grounded look at the roots of a world religion. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
