Scientists Discovered a Hidden Path Revealing a Lost City in the Sahara Desert

Editor's Take

Following researchers who trace a long-buried route across the sands, this film reports on evidence of a settlement now lost beneath the Sahara. It treats the find as a way into a larger question about the civilizations that once occupied a greener landscape. The material is thin on hard specifics, and the documentary is steadiest when it stays with the process of piecing together fragmentary clues.
