The First Nuremberg Trial

Editor's Take

Returning eighty years on, this DW film revisits the first Nuremberg trial, where leading Nazis faced evidence of the Reich's crimes and modern international law took shape. It draws on archive and firsthand accounts to reconstruct the courtroom and the questions it forced open. The treatment is sober and legally minded, attentive to precedent as much as to verdict.
