Exploiting Africa - How China and Europe Hunt for the Raw Materials of the Future

This documentary investigates the scramble for Africa's mineral wealth, as China and European powers compete for the raw materials of the future. Centred on the Democratic Republic of Congo, it shows how the demands of rich nations too often override the rights and safety of local people. It exposes the exploitation behind the metals in our phones and cars. Hard-hitting and clear, it connects distant mines to the global economy we all rely on. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
