Animal Imitators

This documentary enters the strange world of people who transform themselves to resemble their favourite animals. Through body modification and changes in behaviour, these individuals blur the line between human and creature in ways both startling and revealing. The film meets its subjects on their own terms and asks what drives such profound acts of imitation and identity. It resists easy mockery, letting each person explain the meaning behind their transformation. Curious and non-judgmental, it offers an unusual look at devotion and self-expression.
