The first village for digital nomads

Since 2020, Madeira has been attracting freelancers from all over the world. They live and work on the island. But everyday life in this supposed paradise is also sometimes overshadowed by existential worries and loneliness. The Portuguese island of Madeira lies in the Atlantic Ocean. It is known as the island of eternal spring. With its pleasant climate and community, the village of Ponta do Sol attracts young freelancers like Nina and Heiko.
