February 1977, the Welsh coast, and a wave of sightings kicks off when children at Broad Haven Primary see something land near their school and calmly draw it. I have a real soft spot for the Broad Haven schoolkids, who sketched what they saw before any adult could coach them into a story. Kids are terrible liars and excellent witnesses, which is precisely why this one lingers. Weeks of silver-suited figures and lights, and a country that did not know where to look.
