This argues the 9/11 Commission was rigged to fail, led partly by people responsible for the very security lapses it was supposed to investigate, and that a widow's lawsuit forced it into existence at all. I sit on planes-and-failure for the attack itself, but the criticism of the Commission's independence is fair and well-trodden ground. Official inquiries policing their own bosses is a genuine problem. Watch it for the institutional critique, not the demolition theories.
The 9/11 Commission authorized by Congress was a total fraud from the beginning. Led by the same people who were responsible for preventing the attack, the Commission was deliberately “set up to fail.” 9/11 widow and lawyer Kristen Breitweiser forced the Bush administration’s hand, exposing how the Commission was designed to hide the truth.
