Best Street Food in Mexico: 33 Meals — Ultimate Mexican Food Tour

Editor's Take

Confined to the state of Jalisco, from Guadalajara to Tequila to Puerto Vallarta, this tour eats its way through thirty-three meals. It uses tacos, birria, and regional specialities to argue for the depth of Mexican cooking beyond its familiar exports. The film keeps culture in frame alongside flavour, tying dishes to the places that make them. Its regional focus gives it more coherence than a scattershot national survey would.

This film is an ultimate Mexican street food tour through the state of Jalisco, from Guadalajara to Tequila to Puerto Vallarta. Across thirty-three meals it samples the tacos, birria, and regional specialities that make Mexican cuisine one of the world's greatest. Shot in 4K, it captures both the flavours and the culture behind the food. It is a mouth-watering journey through the heart of Mexican cooking. Free to stream in 4K on Dr Documentary.
