Band of Bears: In the Forests of Scandinavia

Editor's Take

An intimate wildlife film following a mother bear and three cubs through the Scandinavian forest across a single formative season. Patient and character-driven, it is the kind of single-family nature story that rewards a slower kind of attention.

Band of Bears follows a mother brown bear and her three cubs through the wild forests of Scandinavia. This exceptional nature film tracks the young family as they learn to forage, play, and survive in a demanding northern wilderness. Filmed in beautiful 4K, it captures the tenderness and drama of a bear's first year of life. Warm and engrossing, it is a lovely watch for anyone who loves wildlife.
