Cephalopods: The Oceans Ultimate Survivors
Cephalopod populations including squid and octopuses are booming unlike most marine species. From the abyss to tropical shallows the group is highly efficient at adapting to changes in the environment. To overcome the disturbances that contribute to the depletion of other species they produce many eggs with relatively low mortality rates. They can adapt rapidly to environmental changes.
