The Man Perpetuating Horse Rearing Tradition in Mongolia

This documentary follows Sai, a formerly nomadic herder raising fifty horses in the vast Mongolian desert, and the rare bond he shares with animals born in the wild. It captures the skill, patience and hardship behind Mongolia's enduring horse-rearing tradition, a way of life pressed by a changing world. The film lets the landscape and the daily labor speak, showing why Sai fights to pass this heritage to the next generation. It is an intimate portrait of tradition, family and the steppe.
