Why Are There 100+ Sunken WW2 Warplanes at the Bottom of Lake Michigan?

This documentary investigates why more than a hundred Second World War aircraft lie at the bottom of Lake Michigan off Chicago. It reveals how the US Navy trained over 15,000 carrier pilots on makeshift flat-tops on the lake, with many planes lost in the effort. Through history and underwater exploration, it uncovers a forgotten training program hidden beneath the waves. Fascinating and surprising, it brings a submerged chapter of wartime history to light.
