Elephant Shrew - Spirit of the Forest

This nature film profiles the elephant shrew, a small, rarely seen creature with stilt-like legs and a long mobile snout that has long baffled zoologists. Filmed in its forest habitat, it reveals the shy, endangered animal's behaviour and the pressures now threatening its survival. Patient wildlife camerawork brings a little-known species into clear view for the first time for many viewers. It is a rewarding watch for anyone who loves the odd corners of the animal kingdom and the science of classifying life. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
