The Wild Side of Our Planet - Narrated by David Attenborough

Editor's Take

Structured as a continuous immersion, this Attenborough-narrated program ranges freely across habitats, moving from a zebra's fight to fish that change sex. It offers variety over any organizing thesis, a survey of striking behaviour drawn from across the animal kingdom. The pleasures are episodic, one encounter giving way to the next without a larger frame. For viewers content to be led from wonder to wonder, that looseness is the point.
