Report by Marc Wolfensberger, Produced by RTS Radio Television Suisse France's cadmium alarm is growing as studies reveal widespread exposure to the toxic metal. RTS investigates how decades of phosphate fertiliser use have contaminated soils and the food on our plates. France faces a cadmium reckoning, from heated clashes in parliament to alarm over children's exposure. "We can legitimately be worried", says ecotoxicologist Pierre-Marie Badot.
