The Dangerous 3000km Migration of Winter Birds
Every year, a massive migration begins as thousands of animals flee the brutal Arctic freeze for the southern tip of Europe. This journey spans over three thousand kilometers, pushing common cranes and whooper swans to their physical limits. The destination is the Iberian Peninsula, home to a unique man-made forest known as the Dehesa. Here, the birds find a vital source of nutrients in the form of acorns, a food source they must learn to handle with specialized intelligence.
