DW on the fight against disinformation, how states and corporations manufacture their own truths and how the big platforms became the delivery system. I file this under the most important conspiracy of the moment, because it is real, funded and aimed at your attention. The battlefield is your feed, and the ammunition is doubt. Watch it and get a little better at telling a genuine source from a weaponized one, which is a survival skill now.

Public opinion is growing more polarized by the day. States and corporations are all working to define just what their "truths” may be. Can anything be done to stop disinformation? Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, among others, have become the biggest propaganda machines in history. They reach billions of people, and exert more power and influence than any organizations before them. And that is just what makes them so dangerous.
