MKUltra: The CIA Mind Control Program They Hid for 40 Years

Dr.Docs' Take

This is the MKUltra detail that stops me cold every time: the CIA once dosed a single patient with LSD for one hundred and seventy four straight days, as an experiment. Between 1953 and 1973 the program ran human trials so extreme that its own director later called them illegal. I do not have to convince you of anything, the government already confessed and shredded most of the evidence. What survived the 1973 shredder is more than enough to ruin your faith in oversight.

This documentary exposes Project MKUltra, the CIA's covert mind-control program that ran from 1953 to 1973 and was hidden for decades. It reveals how the agency dosed unwitting subjects with LSD, used electroshock and pushed human experimentation to disturbing extremes. The film reconstructs a dark chapter of Cold War abuse and the effort to keep it secret. It is a chilling watch for anyone interested in government overreach and hidden history.
