Editor's Take

Collecting a year of Journeyman Pictures' investigative work, this short roundup samples independent reporting from conflict zones, political flashpoints, and overlooked corners of the world. It functions as a sampler rather than a single argument, a way into strands of documentary journalism worth following further. The breadth is the point, and the brevity its natural limit.

It samples stories that dug into politics, conflict, human rights, and hidden corners of society, offering a taste of documentary journalism at its most probing.
