This documentary follows a column of high-value SS hostages in the final days of the Second World War, as their convoy reaches the town of Niederdorf in April 1945. Mixing with the local townsfolk, the prisoners force a fragile pause, but the loss of control makes their SS captors more unpredictable and their situation more perilous.
