The Sacred Link Between Men and Elephants

This documentary explores the deep and troubled relationship between people and elephants, worshipped as gods, hunted for ivory and used as royal mounts. Set largely in Sri Lanka, it reveals how these intelligent animals have been revered and exploited across history. The film weighs cultural reverence against the threats elephants still face. Moving and thoughtful, it honours a sacred and endangered bond. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
