Jaglavak, Prince of Insects

Set in the Mandara Mountains of northern Cameroon, this film explores the extraordinary bond between the Mofu people and insects during a devastating drought. When termites invade their homes and granaries, the community turns to the jaglavak, a fearsome predatory insect, as an unexpected ally. The story blends natural history with human culture, revealing how survival can depend on knowledge passed down for generations.
