This documentary follows Kalou Rimpoche, a seven-year-old grand lama of Tibetan Buddhism believed to be the reincarnation of a leading master. Ahead of the sacred Kalachakra ceremony, it observes his life, training and the friends who visit him. The film offers a rare, intimate view of childhood, faith and spiritual expectation within Tibetan Buddhist tradition. It is a gentle, illuminating portrait of a young lama's world.
