Trapped in the Wakhan Corridor: Inside the Afghan Kyrgyz Nomadic Community
This documentary reaches the Wakhan Corridor high in the Pamir mountains of eastern Afghanistan, home to some of the last Kyrgyz nomads. At over four thousand metres, these families survive without roads, electricity or schools, cut off from the modern world. The film captures their harsh daily struggle and the resilience that keeps their way of life alive. Remote and intimate, it reveals a community trapped between tradition and time.
