The Tragic Story of the Bidoul Tribe

This documentary tells the tragic story of the Bdoul tribe, expelled from the ancient city of Petra in Jordan when it was declared a World Heritage Site in the early 1980s. As hundreds of thousands of tourists flock to the famous ruins, the people who once lived among them were pushed to the margins. The film gives voice to a community displaced in the name of preservation. Poignant and revealing, it questions who heritage is really for. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
