The Mofu People's Impressive Symbiosis With Insects
This film travels to the Mandara Mountains of northern Cameroon, where the Mofu people share their homes and fields with insects in a remarkable relationship of mutual survival. Termites and other creatures normally provide a reliable resource, but a severe drought upsets the balance and threatens the harvest. The camera follows the community as it adapts, revealing how deeply their culture is woven into the natural world around them. It is an intimate look at people, land and the small creatures they depend on. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
