Prisoners of Kin: Hitler's Last Hostages

This documentary follows the fate of the families arrested after the failed plot to assassinate Hitler in July 1944. Held by the SS as prisoners of kin, relatives of the conspirators faced an uncertain future, unsure whether they would be used as bargaining chips or simply killed. The film reconstructs their ordeal in the closing days of the war. Tense and moving, it recovers a little-known story of Nazi vengeance. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
