The World of the Amish - Between Tradition and Temptation

This film enters the world of the Amish in the United States, a community that still lives much as it did in the 17th century, without electricity, phones or cars. It follows the pull between rigid tradition and the temptations of the modern world, and the young people who sometimes break away. Through daily routines and personal choices, it shows what such a life costs and preserves. It is a patient, respectful look at faith, discipline and belonging.
