Does the Prison System Want Them to Fail? The Fight for a Second Chance

This documentary follows inmates walking out of the Texas prison system in Huntsville, where twenty-five thousand are released each year to face the free world again. It captures the raw emotion of release day, where hope collides with fear and the risk of failure. Through their stories it asks whether the system is built to help them succeed or set them up to return. It is a moving watch on crime, punishment and second chances.
