Whale Hunting in the Faroe Islands

This documentary examines the controversial tradition of whale and dolphin hunting in Europe's Faroe Islands. It sets the intelligence and social nature of these animals against the local practice of killing them, exploring the clash of culture, ethics, and modern values. The film approaches a divisive subject with an eye to understanding rather than easy judgment. A challenging watch for anyone interested in whales, animal ethics, and Faroese life.
