Holloway Prison: Women Behind Bars

This documentary explores the long history of Holloway Prison in North London as it prepares to close after 164 years. From suffragettes to a Moors murderer and even a suspected witch, it recounts the women held behind its walls. The film reveals a story of crime, punishment and changing attitudes toward female prisoners. Compelling and historical, it bids farewell to a landmark of British justice.
