Puppies for Prisoners

This documentary follows a prison programme in which inmates convicted of serious crimes, alongside veterans battling PTSD, find redemption by raising puppies. Behind bars, men serving time for murder and armed robbery learn to care and to love again through the animals in their charge. The film captures the tenderness and second chances that grow from an unlikely arrangement. Moving and hopeful, it finds humanity in a hard place. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
