Assassination in Paris: How the Turkish Secret Service Murdered Three Kurdish Activists

Dr.Docs' Take

This investigates the 2013 assassination of three Kurdish activists in Paris, including PKK co-founder Sakine Cansiz, and the trail that appears to lead back to a state intelligence service. I keep this on the serious end of the shelf, no saucers, just a political murder in a European capital. The suspect died before trial, which is exactly the kind of tidy ending that raises more questions. A cold, real case of the long arm of the state reaching across borders.
