Our Planet: From Deserts to Grasslands

This installment of a sweeping natural history series moves across the planet's deserts and grasslands, following the animals that survive where water is scarce and cover is thin. Cameras track desert elephants searching for sustenance and bison ranging over North American plains, while the film weighs how a changing climate presses on them all. It balances spectacle with a sober look at fragile balances under pressure. Ambitious and beautifully filmed, it is grand-scale nature with a conscience. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
