Defending Violent Criminals

This documentary follows defence lawyers representing clients accused of serious and violent crimes, from armed robbery to knife offences. It goes inside the work of building a defence for the kind of cases the public finds hardest to sympathise with. The film explores the tension between due process and public outrage without taking sides. It is a thought-provoking watch for anyone interested in crime, the justice system, and the role of criminal defence. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
