Bus Pass Bandits

This documentary tells the unexpectedly funny story of pensioners who turned to crime late in life, from small-time smugglers to a bank fraudster running elaborate schemes in his final years. It parades an unlikely cast of elderly crooks and lets them explain, in their own words, how and why they broke the law. Behind the humour it raises real questions about ageing, boredom, and how society treats older people. Warm, anarchic, and genuinely entertaining, it is a crime film with a smile.
