The South African Generation Gap Caused by AIDS (2003)
Grandmother - My Mom! (2003) - Many South African grandmothers are forced to support their young grandchildren, orphaned as a result of the AIDS epidemic that continues to plague the country. Despite having no income except an invariably meagre pension, these grandparents often find themselves solely responsible for their grandchildren. This is at the cost of their own health: elderly and impoverished, their own wellbeing quickly becomes last priority.
