But just a few years later, she was accused of helping lure 22-year-old Shannon Griffin into a robbery that ended in cold-blooded murder. Although Jennifer never fired a weapon, prosecutors argued that without her, the crime would never have happened. Under Florida's felony murder law, she was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
