Inside the Lebanese Christian Elite: 'The Switzerland of the Middle East'

This documentary follows four members of the Lebanese Christian elite, the last representatives of a golden age when Lebanon was called the Switzerland of the Middle East. In one of the world's most volatile countries, they cling to the memory of prosperity and status even as instability closes in. The film uses their lives to explore identity, faith and decline in modern Lebanon. It is a thoughtful portrait of a class caught between a lost past and an uncertain future.
