Professor Richard Scolyer lived an extraordinary life driven by his passion for helping others. His greatest legacy — volunteering to be ‘patient zero’ in an experimental brain cancer treatment. It was designed by his colleague Professor Georgina Long based on melanoma science developed at the institute they jointly led.
