On the Overdose Frontline
This documentary takes viewers to the frontline of the opioid crisis in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, where a group of misfits, artists and drug users runs a renegade safe injection site. Amid the fentanyl epidemic, they offer care, dignity and connection to people the system has left behind. The film is an intimate portrait of compassion in the face of overdose and loss. It is a raw, humane look at harm reduction and community. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
