A Stone in Our Heart
This documentary follows a mother and daughter, Lillian and Jette, as they hike through the Swiss mountains and back into a painful past. Moving from cabin to cabin, they slowly unearth memories Lillian spent years trying to suppress. The film uses the shared journey to explore trauma, silence and the healing that can come from finally speaking. It is a tender, emotionally honest portrait of family, memory and reconciliation.
