One of the hardest alpine routes ever climbed… attempted in the depths of winter. Deepfreeze – Directissime Walker tells the gripping story of three elite French mountaineers attempting a historic climb on the legendary north face of the Grandes Jorasses. In 1986, climbers Patrick Gabarrou and Hervé Bouvard opened the Walker Directissime, an incredibly difficult line rising 1,200 meters up one of the most intimidating alpine walls in the world.
