Rate itMember ratings
The digital book club BookTok got its start during the pandemic in 2020. Today, it is a big success, used primarily by young women who are fans of a particular literary genre - so-called "New Adult,” or romance novels for young adults. The new books have striking, glossy covers, their language is easy to follow, the stories are romantic, exciting and full of eroticism from a female perspective. But young women aren't just engaging in online discussions about their favorite books.
