From Failure to Redemption | The 109 Hours Running Documentary
How far can the human body and mind go? 109 Hours (2017) follows elite Bulgarian runner Kiril “Disl” Nikolov, one of the country’s most accomplished endurance athletes, as he attempts to conquer one of the toughest challenges in European trail running. The goal: break the legendary speed record on Bulgaria’s famous Kom–Emine route — a grueling 600 km mountain trail stretching across the Balkan Mountains with more than 16,000 meters of elevation gain.
