K2 and the Invisible Footmen
Rate itMember ratings
This film climbs K2, the second-highest mountain on Earth and a prize even greater than Everest for many mountaineers. It follows the invisible footmen, the local porters whose labour makes each expedition possible on this brutal, deadly peak. It sets the glory of the summit against the risks borne by those who carry the loads. It is a gripping watch about ambition, altitude and the people behind the climb.
